Finance experts set Shiba Inu (SHIB) price for end of 2026

Finance experts set Shiba Inu (SHIB) price for end of 2026

After a brief rally that marked the end of summer and extended into early October, Shiba Inu (SHIB) went on another downward spiral, making Shiba Inu price target forecasts for the end of 2026 a point of contention once more.

The decline has pushed the asset out of the leading group of cryptocurrencies by market cap, as the digital asset now occupies spot number 31, with a market capitalization of around $2.74 billion.

However, according to some market experts, the meme token could be preparing for a significant recovery in the coming months, which could lift the price up from the current levels at around $0.0000047.

Analysts see major upside for SHIB by year-end

In February this year, a survey of 19 crypto experts conducted by Finder expected Shiba Inu to head into 2027 at an average price of $0.00002. This represents a potential 325% increase from the current price.

Although the survey did not provide a specific price target for the end of 2027, the projections nonetheless offered an indication of what investors expected as SHIB moved into the following year.

That is because the consensus anticipated further appreciation over the longer term, forecasting an average price of $0.0000524 by the end of 2030. At a relatively steady appreciation between the projected price for the end of 2026 and 2030, we can say the analysts thought SHIB could reach $0.000028 in 2027.

Seeing how the asset has moved this year, however, the predictions are starting to appear too optimistic, while some of the more cautious takes recorded by the survey have come to the forefront.

Not all analysts are bullish on Shiba Inu

For instance, Ruadhan O, founder of Seasonal Tokens, was the most bearish panelist, forecasting that SHIB will fall to $0.000007 by the end of 2026. The analyst argues that Shiba Inu’s historical price performance revealed a broader downward trend, interrupted by occasional hype-driven rallies.

“The all-time chart for SHIB shows an ongoing downtrend interrupted by hype-driven peaks that are decreasing in intensity over time,” Ruadhan said.

Similarly, Arthur Azizov, CEO of B2BINPAY, emphasized that Shiba Inu remained heavily influenced by market sentiment rather than technological fundamentals.

“SHIB trades on headlines, attention and hype. So, I’m not modelling SHIB like a tech platform token. I’m framing outcomes around whether SHIB keeps exchange distribution, retains cultural relevance through the next rotation and manages to support enough ecosystem activity to stay ‘alive’ between hype cycles,” Azizov stated.

Shiba Inu team has high hopes for 2027

Looking ahead to 2027, Shiba Inu’s own team recently praised an analyst projection describing a $1 SHIB as “mathematically improbable but NOT IMPOSSIBLE,” calling the accompanying analysis “nice work.”

However, the forecast, given by the analyst known as Nuvycrypto1998, faces a considerable mathematical hurdle. After all, SHIB would need to rally around 200,000-fold to reach the target price, implying a market capitalization far beyond even Bitcoin’s (BTC) current valuation.

A more immediate perspective comes from another crypto analyst, Giannis Andreou, who identified several technical levels that could determine whether SHIB stages a recovery heading into 2027.

Namely, Andreou highlighted $0.000004764 as a critical support level, with SHIB trading around $0.000004922 at the time of his analysis. If buyers successfully defend that area, the analyst sees room for an initial rebound toward $0.000006248 and $0.000006687, followed by a potential advance to $0.000007796.

Ultimately, Shiba Inu price target forecast for 2027 remains highly speculative, with opinions changing almost as quickly as the price. While the project’s team and some analysts remain optimistic, the token’s historical performance and reliance on market sentiment warrant caution.
