The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, ended October at around $77,400, losing 7.32% of its value during the month. This marks the second consecutive October decline for $BTC, following a 3.95% drop in October 2025. This is also the worst October performance in 12 years since 2014, and it failed to meet investors’ Uptober expectations.
With October failing to meet expectations, market attention has shifted to November. Historically, November is also considered a strong month for Bitcoin. According to data, the average return for November is approximately 34.9%, while the median return is 10.3%.

A survey conducted at this point revealed that the US midterm elections could have an impact on expectations for the Bitcoin market.
A Bloomberg survey of 301 investors and financial experts suggests that the price of Bitcoin could rise above $100,000.
According to the survey, 29% of respondents believe that if Republicans gain a majority in Congress, Bitcoin could surpass $100,000 by the end of 2026.
According to the survey results, the percentage of those who think Bitcoin will surpass $100,000 is 8% in the scenario where the Democrats control Congress, but 14% in the scenario where the two parties share control.
If the Democrats gain a majority in Congress, 55% of participants predict that $BTC will fall by the end of the year but remain above $60,000.
In contrast, 16 percent of participants expect it to fall below $60,000.
